Loyalty for the places that make a neighbourhood
Big chains have loyalty apps. The café on your corner does not, because building one is expensive and running it is a full-time job. Loyila gives independent merchants the same tool, shared, so each of them can afford it.
Our mission
Help every independent merchant in Kenya keep the customers they already have.
Winning a new customer costs more than keeping one. Most small businesses know their regulars by face but have no way to thank them, remind them, or notice when they stop coming. We want to fix that with something simple enough to run from a phone.
Starting in Nairobi and built to travel
We are small on purpose for now, because getting it right with a few restaurants matters more to us than being everywhere.
Nairobi pilot
A small number of restaurants running Loyila every day, telling us what works and what does not.
More of Nairobi, then other Kenyan cities
Cafés, shops, salons and restaurants across the city, then Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru and beyond. [CONFIRM CITY ORDER]
Other countries
The same model, adapted to how people pay and shop in each place. Not before Kenya is right.
Four things we hold ourselves to
Merchants own their customers
Your customer list is yours. We never share it with other merchants and never sell it.
Customers control their data
Consent is explicit, export is one tap, and closing an account really closes it.
No fake proof
If we do not have the numbers yet, we say so. You will not find invented statistics or testimonials here.
Plain language
If a shop owner cannot understand a screen in ten seconds, we rewrite it.
Want to join the pilot?
If you run a café, restaurant or shop in Nairobi, we would like to talk.
